NY- Where have we seen you before?
JR- Well, you've probably seen me a little bit of everywhere as far as the internet goes - Twitter, Facebook, Myspace all of the usual social networking spots (laughs), but on a serious tip, most of you best know me from my most memorable photo shoot with photographer Nick Saglimbeni of Slickfoce Studios for Model Kamp! Those pictures have created quit the buzz and definitely pushed my career to an even higher level.
NY- How long have you been modeling?
JR- I've only been modeling in the glamour world for about 5 months, so if I don't look familiar now, come 2010 YOU will certainly know MY name!
NY- What is your sexiest feature and why?
JR- As predictable as it is going to sound, Id have to say my eyes. They are undoubtably the first thing you notice and what lures you in, everything else is just the added bonus *giggles*.
NY- Are you on or off the market?
JR- On, I have been single for almost a year now. The causal dating scene is cool and all buuuuuuut it has never been me, I was always "the girl with the boyfriend" *laughs*. I pride myself on my morals and being raised with such I was taught to commit to my man and take that commitment seriously. Id never allow myself to half step in a relationship. Until I feel Im where I need to be career wise, I will continue to give all of this awesome loving to the camera *laughs*.
NY- Which would you rather have, a man who takes care of you but work's ALL of the time or a man who isn't well off but has ALL of his time for you?
JR- I'd like to break even...too much of either can be a deal BREAKER! I want a man with a strong work ethic, I am a workaholic so I need him to have that same drive. A man who wants to spend all day attached at the hip WILL NOT WORK plain and simple, I don't have the time nor do I feel should he. At the same time, I want and enjoy the quality time, late night pillow talk and to fall asleep wrapped tight in his arms, finding an even balance is contributing to the reason I'm single now.
NY- What is your favorite thing about a man? Why?
JR- His shoulders, there's just something about a perfect pair of shoulders *sighs* leading down to toned arms that drives me CRAZY. Im a sucker for an in shape and cut up body....it can make me melt!
NY- How did you come up with the name "Jessica Rabbit"?
JR- It all started with some of my closest friends nick naming me "Bunny" so I kind of ran with that and just upgraded it. *giggles* I'd say its a good fit, wouldn't you?
NY- What other projects have you done and what do you have on the up and coming?
JR- I recently shot the December centerfold for LowRider Magazine which is on stands now, Dime Piece magazine after the new year as well as an up and coming shoot for LowRider Girls, theres just something about old schools and skin that screams SEX! I am a VJ for the "Urban Music Report" on Cox Cable, TUNE IN (you can always find me located in your VIDEO DEMAND section *wink wink*) AND If you dont have COX call them and tell the you want your YUNG TV! We keep you up to date on all the lastest and greatest hip hop, RnB & best yet we expose unsigned hype. Ive also started working on a 2011 Calendar and will be launching my official website prior to this upcoming summer. I want these two projects (calendar-website) to be exclusive and when I say exclusive - I mean EXCLUSIVE. *giggles* Images you wont find for campaigns or in magazines, everything will be shot specifically
for these two projects. So I'd say we definitely have some HUGE moves to look out for, wouldnt you?
*Reminder: Make sure to add my Facebook and Fan Facebook page so I can keep you up to date on the site, this is the direct connection between me and my fans.... and I mean seriously whats better than that? *laughs*

NY- You talk about your fans a lot, how important is it for you to have a strong fan base?
JR- I feel as though THAT is the most important part of my career, without fans and a STRONG following I would be nothing. Last week on my way home from Dallas, I wound up on the plane with a couple of college football players from Texas A&M who recognized me immediately. I couldnt believe they knew who I was! The whole trip home they showed me mad love, asking me to sign autographs and take pictures with them. I am so proud that I made my dream my reality. Growing up having a coke bottle frame wasn't "in", voluptuous women were given one of two options the "fat funny actress" *laughs* or the "plus sized model" *side eye*. Today our society embraces such figures and "glamour modeling" is allowing these beautiful women to feel empowered by their curves.
NY - What do you hope to accomplish in your career?
JR - Mainly, I want to become financially stabile... and by this I mean Id like to be able to pull a Rick James and yell "Im rich bitch!" at the top of my lungs at any given time simply because I feel like it *laughs*. Im just kidding guys...well sort of *giggles*. My goals are the same as most, to earn a good living doing what I love in order to provide for my family and myself. I hope I am able to accomplish a great deal in my life time and enjoy main stream stardom. Hopefully this will allow me to give back to others in my community who are in need. What most of you do not know is, I have two auto-immune disease known as "Rheumatoid Arthritis" which corrodes and destroys the joints in my body and "Lupus" causing severe damage to my internal organs, Heart, Liver, Kidneys, Lungs. I want to one day be in a position where Id be able to help other individuals suffering from these disabilities, start
foundations that provides help with adequate health care and education to others such as family members so they will be able to fully understand the severity of these illnesses. If I can use my success to help others than I will feel that I have accomplished what I was set out to do.
NY- What advice would you give to the women trying to break into the modeling world or any advice on being a successful model period?
JR- Dont rush it! Find a strong team with individuals who are solely focused on you and your success, I define "team" by the people who are your base and foundation. Management, the person who books the audition so YOU can get the job. There are several managers and agencies who are always on the look for the newest "it" girl, dont be afraid to contact them. Just keep a couple of things in mind while doing so - knowledge of this industry, reputation, strong connections - Do they understand YOUR specific career goals? Never sign into and "exclusive" contract, this will enable you from working outside of your manager or representation. Find the right photographer because this person (or persons) is your bread and butter, they show the world "you. perfected" *winks*. If you don't know your angles - then learn them! Make sure you get them right, sit in front of a mirror and practice - practice - practice until you have them down to a T. Its hard to get feed
back from most photographers when you are in front of a lens and trust me the last thing you want is someone yelling "you look amazing", "oh i love it" or "flawless" when you have an emotionless facial expession or your body isnt in propper positioning.
NY- OK one last question, is there anything you could'nt do without?
JR- My family and Doodle (my doggie), they are my EVERYTHING.
