I am 5’ 8 with honey caramel skin completion, freckles and natural red hair. My measurements are 34D-26-40. I am 100% NIGERIAN! and my name originates from Nigerian and means "God's Gift". Since Nigerian woman aren't widely know or recognized for glamor or urban modeling I want to represent and show the world that we are all beautiful and come in many different sizes and colors. In May I will be graduating from college with my Bachelors Degree in Film and Television Production with a minor in Pan African Studies. Following my graduation, I plan on pursuing my Masters Degree.
NY - What is your nationality?
Kemi -I'm Nigerian
NY - Tell us where we might know you from?
Kemi - I'm actually a new face to the glamour industry. I'm an aspiring model from Los Angeles, California that has a pretty promising future. I have been featured on several online sites around the world and landed my first magazine feature where I'm on the cover of CREAME magazine. NY - How long have you been modeling?
Kemi - I just recently started doing glamour modeling, however I have done print work for advertisement campaigns and commercials back when I was in high school.
NY - If there were no pictures of you what would be the first thing you described to me about yourself?
Kemi - That’s easy, close your eyes and picture a 34D-26- 41, 5’8, honey caramel completion, small waist with very voluptuous assets, brown eyes, natural red hair bombshell beauty that has the prefect smile! Ta dah, you have Ms. Kemi Shade.
NY - How sexy are you and why?
Kemi - Rating my sexiness on a scale from 1 – 10, I would have to say I’m a perfect 10! To me, sexy isn’t just all about looks (although it’s a major part of it), its deeper that that. Sexy is how you carry yourself as a woman, your personality, attitude, integrity, and ultimately what your all about in life. If you have goals that you want to accomplish and become someone greater in life you can easily exude sexy. I feel that I posses what it means to be sexy because I am ALL of the above with a banging body. lol
NY - Are you on or off the market?
Kemi - I'm single, but not really looking. I guess you can say I’m “on the market,” still waiting for prince charming to come and sweep me off my feet.
NY - Since there's no perfect man, tell me what's the one thing a man can do that makes you melt ?
Kemi - I can only choose one! Well, the most important thing a man can do that would make me melt is if he showed me how much he appreciated me! The possibilities are endless as to what that can be, but it’s a must if a guy wants to impress me.
NY - Does a regular guy have a chance with you? Why?
Kemi - Considering I think of myself as a regular woman, a regular guy has nothing to worry about. As long as he has his stuff together and is consistently working towards his dreams in life I’m open to giving him a chance. There's one thing I can’t stand, an unmotivated man that’s going nowhere with his life.
NY - What other projects have you done and what do you have coming up?
Kemi - Although this is only the beginning of my modeling career, I've already been featured on several online sites and magazines. I’m on the cover of CREAME Magazine which drops next month, I’m currently model of the month on onsitehiphop.com

NY - Tell us something your fans don't know about you?
Kemi - For most people when they meet me they always assume my name is pronounced the way it’s spelled. To set the record straight it’s pronounced (Kam-mie Shaw-Day). My names origin is Nigerian and means “Gods Gift.” Unlike all these other females claiming to be mixed with this and that, I know where I come from. My father is 100% Nigerian, born and raised and my mother is African American. I’ve been to the beautiful land of Africa several times and plan on living in Nigeria with my family in the years to come. Its such a beautiful continent with such a rich culture I encourage everyone to at least take a trip once in there lifetime to Africa. What many people see on TV has never been a true representation of what our motherland actually looks like and people need to educate themselves and go see it in real life. The one thing that irks me is when people disregard the fact that I actually identify with where I come from. I embrace my African root that’s why I am proud to say I represent Nigeria because the people there are all beautiful and I’m a true reflection of that!
NY - What do you hope to accomplish in your career?
Kemi - I am looking forward to working with many artists in the music industry as well as major publications for glamour models around the world. I absolutely love all kinds of music from Pop, Hip Hip, Gospel, R&B and Rock. Just to get an idea of what artist are in my in my ipod right now: Mary Mary, India Arie, Joss Stone, Ginuwine, Young Money, Maroon 5, Robin Thicke, Pink, Usher, Tokio Hotel, The Dream, Adele, Mike Jones, Maxwell, Al, Green, Fred Hammond, Yo Gotti, Beyonce, Lil Wayne, Garvin DeGraw, Black Eyed Peas, Da Truth, Lauryn Hill, Ludacris, Jodeci, Gucci Mane, Jagged Edge, Corinne Baile Rae, Jay-Z, Flyleaf, Young Jeezy, Snoop Dog, man the list goes on and on, but at least you got a taste of what artist I listen to.
NY - What advice would you give to women that want to follow your footsteps into the modeling world?
Kemi - My advice for women following in my footsteps is to be smart and never compromise you morals or integrity for immediate gratification. Good things come to those who wait, as I was told it might take a couple months for you to get noticed, and even when you do, there are going to be thousands of girls just like you looking for exposure. Find what makes you unique and let that separate you from the rest. Be true to yourself, follow your dreams and never settle for less than your worth.
NY- OK one last question, from 1 -10 what is your freak level?
Kemi - Seriously? I'm very introverted when it comes to my sexuality, but just to humor everyone, I can’t even lie it’s a 10 no brag!
